I know many have complaints on many things about this hotel. Our room was just fine during our stay. The hotel is a basic hotel- nothing fancy but it’s someplace decent priced to stay. I do however have something to say for their staff! The two woman up front- Lori & Virginia were nothing but the absolute best! When I checked in Virginia asked what I was doing on my trip for I was out of state. I told her my husband was having an all day surgery the following day so we’re staying here to be close to the hospital. She was so nice and made sure we had a room on the first floor for him when he would come back after his surgery. Which was so helpful for when we can back after his surgery the next night he could hardly make it our room which was room #100, very close to the front door. The night of his surgery I went to break a $5 so I could get us drinks and a snack from the machine. Lori was so sweet and asked how it went. I told her he was doing well but was very nauseous. She went above & beyond for us. Gave me extra trash bag, trash can, a box, and some popsicles for my husband. So while this hotel may not be fancy, the hospitality was outstanding. My husband and I are so grateful for the kindness these two woman gave us.
There were bed bugs in both the rooms they gave us and cockroaches crawling on the floor!!!!!!! We demand a refund.
Located right off the interstate, right next to a super Walmart. Applebee's, IHOP, Waffle House all in walking distance. Clean, well kept property, on the whole. For the price, really hard to beat for Akron
So this hotel has the best 3rd shift front desk clerk. Her name is Ashley and she is amazing, always smiling and happy and really makes yu feel welcome. There is a $100 deposit if yo id says Akron but yu can pay cash or card and get the cash back in the morning. If yu live outside Akron then the deposit is $60. This hotel also has smoking rooms still! It's right next to Walmart, there is a smoke shop literally in the next parking lot, lots of restaurants and a Speedway like 5 mins away. The freeway is also really close as well.
